Terms of Service

Effective date: July 11, 2026

Version 1 — this document is an initial draft published for transparency and is subject to formal legal review. The current terms of your use of Dentral remain as described here until an updated version is published.

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the Dentral platform — including DentralOS clinic management, Dentral AI and the DentralHub professional network — provided at dentral.co and its subdomains (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the dental practice you represent.

1. The Service

Dentral is a cloud-based practice management platform for dental clinics. It provides appointment scheduling, patient records, clinical charting, billing and invoicing, staff management, inventory, analytics, patient communication tools and an online booking site for your clinic.

The Service is offered as software-as-a-service. We host the software and your data on our servers; you access it through a web browser or our applications. We may improve, extend or modify features of the Service over time, provided the core functionality you subscribed to is not materially reduced during a paid term.

2. Accounts and responsibilities

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential. The clinic owner account is responsible for all activity under the organization, including actions of staff members it invites.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service — in particular the collection and processing of patient data — complies with the laws applicable to your practice, including the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 (PDPL) and applicable medical-records regulations.

3. Subscriptions, trials and seats

Paid plans are billed per doctor seat: each practitioner (dentist) membership in your organization occupies one billable seat. Plan prices, seat prices and feature entitlements are shown on the pricing page and in your billing settings.

New organizations receive a free trial (currently 14 days, subject to the platform's published policy) with no payment details required. When the trial ends, continued use of the Service requires an active paid subscription.

If a subscription payment is not received when due, your organization enters a grace period (currently 7 days) with full access and warnings, after which the account is locked to read-only until payment is settled. Your data is not deleted when an account is locked.

4. Payments

Subscription payments may be made by Instapay transfer to Dentral's published receiving address (with a payment request submitted through your billing page and manually reviewed by our team), or — where available — by card through Stripe. Manual Instapay payments are activated after our review of the submitted proof of payment, normally within one business day.

Fees are stated in Egyptian pounds unless otherwise indicated and are exclusive of any applicable taxes. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable; unused time on a cancelled subscription remains usable until the end of the paid period.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; until then the Service remains fully available. After cancellation your account reverts to read-only access so you can export your data.

You may request permanent deletion of your organization and its data by contacting support@dentral.co (see the Data Protection statement for retention details).

6. Your data

As between you and Dentral, you own the clinical and business data you enter into the Service, including patient records. You grant Dentral the right to host, process and back up this data solely to provide and secure the Service.

Dentral acts as a data processor for the patient data you control. Details of how data is stored, protected and retained are set out in our Privacy Policy and Data Protection statement, which form part of these Terms.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of medical-confidentiality obligations;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to other tenants' data or to the platform's infrastructure;
  • resell, sublicense or provide the Service to third parties outside your organization without our written consent;
  • upload malicious code or use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.

We may suspend accounts that present a security risk or materially breach these Terms, after notice where practicable.

8. Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available around the clock, but the Service is provided “as is” and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance will be scheduled to minimize disruption where possible.

Support is available in Arabic and English at support@dentral.co.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and branding, is and remains the property of Dentral. These Terms do not grant you any right in the Service other than the limited right to use it during your subscription.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dentral's aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid to Dentral in the twelve months preceding the claim. Dentral is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for clinical decisions made by practitioners using the Service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Service or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Egyptian courts.
